Not all cheap drones come with built in cameras, even the high end premium drones sometimes allow you the opportunity to add your own highly spec’d camera and this is a good idea if the quality of the camera is more important than having the latest drone. Of course, camera technology grows at a similar pace to drone tech but with the end result deemed the most important there is a lot to be said for having the ability to swap in a newer camera rather than having to replace the whole drone. The camera is also often the weakest point of a drone so again, by having a removable (and replaceable) camera you can increase the lifespan of your drone considerably should the unexpected happen.
